I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate at the Department of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), supervised by Prof. Jeffrey Xu YU and Prof. Hong CHENG. Previously, I received my B.Eng. degree from East China Normal University in 2022, where I did my undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Prof. Xuemin LIN.

My research interests lie in data management and query processing, particularly vector databases and large-scale graphs. My work spans two broad directions:

• Vector Database Query Processing. I study both fundamental similarity search and more expressive query workloads in vector databases:
  • Nearest Neighbor Search and Indexing. Graph-based index and search with theoretical guarantee (TODS’25), efficient proximity graph construction (PVLDB’25, VLDBJ’26), cross-modal vector search (PVLDB’27), and privacy-preserving similarity search (ICDE’25).
  • Expressive Vector Queries. Predicate- and range-filtered nearest neighbor search (SIGMOD’26, KDD’26), multi-vector search (TheWebConf’26), similarity joins (SIGMOD’25), and integrated vector-relational query processing (OSDI’23).
• Graph Algorithms and Systems. I design efficient algorithms for influence maximization and minimization (ICDE’23, PVLDB’24, JOC’25), network structural stability and resilience (KDD’23, TheWebConf’24), cycle discovery (VLDBJ’26), and graph-aware optimization of sparse matrix multiplication on GPUs (EuroSys’25).
